Covered all visible foam with some more epoxy/fibre/flox mixture to a. make the foam more durable (this applied especially to the fromt of the arms and the inside of the pivot holes), b. filled in some gaps on the underside of the fibre glass layup front side (cannot be seen from the front but while I was at it, I thought I could also flatten the surface. Covered it with Mylar tape to create a smooth surface) and c. mixed some fibres under the mixture because the factory finished SLSA has an additional fibre layer on the inside of the arms. While the instructions do not specifically demand it, I thought this to be a smart idea, especially since the fibers are somewhat enhancing the rigidity of the fibre glass form and additionally binding the epoxy form to the metal from the top.
